Amber's story is told with great poise-she never rushes the events that brought her to her momentous reckonings. Rather, she savors each event showing how every step was purposeful, filled with meaning and holding the promise of further transformations. She has a storyteller's sense of drama, a writer's view of how to shape and craft the portrayal of her journey. Amber writes, "Will my life be based on the journey to make everyone else happy? Or will my life be a shining example of one who dropped all boundaries of outward pleasure to find the ultimate journey of self-realization into the fantastic landscape of my own inner God?" If this book has a message, it's that the highest forms of consciousness are fostered and nurtured in domestic settings where love and the flesh join people in beautiful tasks of ordinary living.
