Chapter 10 Summary

The Ancient School - Discipline and the March Retreats

While living in Saudi Arabia the second time we determined that we would continue with our schooling with Ramtha in Yelm, Washington. This would entail flying the entire family back to the states twice a year, a cost of $10,000 each flight. However, we had realized the importance of this for our spiritual development.

While living in Saudi this second time we embraced everything that Ramtha taught us and faithfully practiced our disciplines several times a day. Thus, when the March retreats were scheduled, we made our trek back to Yelm.

Before leaving for our retreats, I went into the desert and called forth my God to come and stand before me. I asked to be caught up and rapped in the wings of that forever embrace so that I would know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my God truly existed. I had no idea of knowing that that reflection would come from another student in the school.

There were two retreats that year, and we signed up for both of them. Ed and I have always been the closest thing to soul mates without being soul mates. In other words, we were always on opposites sides of any experience. Therefore, in these two retreats, we realized this once again. In the first retreat, Ed accomplished every discipline with his retreat partner and I accomplished next to nothing, which placed me in a state of lack. However, in the second retreat, my partner, who was the manifestation of my protestations in the desert, and I not only accomplished all of the disciplines, but we completed these disciplines as if they were second nature. Those who watched us perform these disciplines were astounded and so were we.

This connection caused great fire in my relationship with my husband, but it was just that fire that propelled us into our growth.

In this chapter I also discuss the disciplines of the Power Breath and Blue Body Healing and my experiences with them.
