Chapter 3 Summary

JZ Knight

This chapter is best summarized by JZ Knight herself. The information in this chapter was summarized from JZ Knight’s autobiography, A State of Mind.

Looking back, my life has resembled an uphill climb with many downhill detours. If there is truth in predestination, I certainly chose a life that imposed every conceivable hardship and obstacle. The purpose: to stretch myself to the limits and understand the reason of my being and to know God.

I remember my early childhood as one filled with innocent joy - that is until age four, when I was brutally raped.

I would bloom from an ugly duckling into a beautiful young woman, fighting to hold on to my virtue and struggling to gain a sense of self-respect. I would marry three times: the first time for need, which bore me two sons; the second for security and stability; and the third for love. In my lifetime, I would fight disease, prejudice, and loneliness. I created two corporations in cable TV and would become the first woman to rise to the top in the marketing end of the industry. During my lifetime, I experienced a UFO, a miraculous healing, and a visit from my closest friend the same evening that she died.

I’ve had the honor of meeting some of the most famous people in the world and a few have become dear friends. But the most important of all to me will always be Ramtha the Enlightened One. For no one else in my life has remained so steadfast. He has taught me the meaning of the words “unconditional love,” which has freed me to look back on my life and be able to say “I have no regrets.”

There may always be unseeing entities who war for preeminence and glory. And yet, while the petty battles continue, Ramtha’s love prevails and his knowledge has been embraced and shared by many. This is my life.
